Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004 - 11:01 a.m. See me. It is Free Fair time! I entered three of my photos in the fair and not one of them pulled in a ribbon. Sheesh. Maybe some steriods next year might help. They don't test, do they? Of course a professional photo (very Sprawl-Mart looking) of three kids got a ribbon. What the...? Polictics anyone? Feel me. Chris got a wrist band to ride all he wanted (or all I made him ride, I'm getting my money's worth, dadgumit!). He took his first solo trip down the Big Slide. For whatever reason, my guess is he was going too fast, he stuck his hand out toward the wall, it grabbed on and flung him ass over tea kettle and he ended up coming down on his belly. He rubbed his head as he got off and declared that he didn't want to go on that ride again. Touch me. I'm dropping pounds on the "My husband is gone for six months, I have wiggly guts and nothing stays in my stomach long enough to get absorbed." diet. I have probably lost at least five pounds in 10 days. I wouldn't recommend this diet, but I may be down to my goal weight by the time he gets home for good! I did manage to keep in a Snickers sundae from Braums (caramel instead of hot fudge please) last night. Tasty. Heal me. David came home this past weekend and we had a ball in Tulsa. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza, ate at Spaghetti Warehouse and went to see Tommy at the Performing Arts Center. No, not Tommy who? The Who's 1970s rock opera Tommy. Tommy can you hear me? Anyway, good times were had.
