Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004 - 11:20 a.m. Ramblings... La, la, la, linoleum. Listening to - Barenaked Ladies, Barenaked for The Holidays. (Have I mentioned how much I love iTunes?) What's for lunch? - Foot long cheese coney with mustard and onions from Sonic! And a side of tater tots. mmmmm Reading - Playing James by Sarah Mason. Laughing my bee-hind off. Trying not to - Get a lick of work done! So far, so good. Need to - Straighten up the house. I haven't been home in two nights, what do you expect? "Did you know they nailed Jesus to the cross so he wouldn't fall off?", asks precious four-year-old. Parent-Teacher conference went great. She says he will be totally ready for kindergarten. He is already doing some kindergarten work. Woot! She can tell that I work and interact with him a lot. Well, let's see...we are the only two people at home EVERY STINKING NIGHT! Except when Matt is over, then I pass him off. Who else can he interact with? The cat? She's not much on conversation. The dog? He is deaf. The fish? He won't come out of hiding. So that leaves me! He does a lot of things with me around the house. He is my assistant chef when I cook. He is the official Egg Cracker and Measuring Cup aficionado. (I had to look up the spelling on that one!) We sat around the other day and made baby pillows. I sewed, Matt stuffed and sewed, and Chris stuffed. We made three baby pillows and then Matt decided he would like to have a little one like that to take camping so I cut up a fleece throw and made him one. I made another one for a friend who is going camping in the mountains over Christmas break. I'm going to cut the fleece a little more and make some mufflers. OMG! I'm turning into Crafty Craftyton, the mayor of Craftville! Fun times at our house! Next new project - turning Christmas cards into recipe cards! I really would like to have one of those recipe card albums. I should tell Santa... Wishing I had - Woodchuck cider. Forgot - my blood pressure pill AGAIN! People, that is why I got on the birth control patch. I am horrible at remembering to take a pill! Going - bye, bye.
