So here I sit. Typing (new keyboard!) by the glow of my new (Really!) Samsung SyncMaster 19" flatscreen monitors (yes, plural. My cool job as a TV producer/director, graphic artist, layout and design, and photographer guru necessitates two, count 'em, two, monitors. Lucky me, eh?). My trusty not-so-new APPLE MACINTOSH G4 warming my feet beneath my desk. And my soon-to-be-who-knows-where APPLE eMAC sitting beside the SyncMasters (makes me feel like a DJ. they are on lazy susan pedastals so I can scrub like nobody's business!) so I can type all of my lost bookmarks into my web browser! Why, oh why, did the kind folks who help me set up my new (not-so-much) APPLE G4 not move the aforementioned bookmarks with everything else?!?!?! CURSES! BARNACLES! TARTAR SAUCE! Luckily, I got all of my iTunes music or there really would have been an ass whuppin'.

Anywho...I will be taking some time off during the holidays. Actually, I will be only taking four days, but the "institute" I work for is giving us six days off. I'm taking four extra 'cause that's when the boys are out of school. So you won't be hearing to much from me until the 5th of January. I'll try to visit from time to time, but if you don't hear from me...love, peace and hair grease.

Note to Garrison - I didn't know if you noticed that I am a MAC user. I love them and totally want a laptop for my home use. So there! heheheheh

Oh, I forgot to mention...

MY HUSBAND OF TEN YEARS BOUGHT ME AN ANNIVERSARY/ETERNITY RING FOR CHRISTMAS. I lurv him. It is white gold with an open heart in the middle. Inside the heart are three round diamonds. Running down the band on either side are six (per side) channel set baguettes (diamonds, not french bread). I shall be waving in your general direction so you can be extremely jealous. HA!
