Chris - Mom, can you get me a beer?

Me - {lowering book} Excuse me? A what?

C - A beer.

M - No.

C - Why not?

M - {other than the fact they are for me} You don't drink beer.

C - One of those things Dad drinks.

M- A Coke?

C - Yeah.

M - Okay.

C - {satisfied} And a straw.
