Mama needs sleep.

I am totally a night owl. I stay up late reading until my eyes threaten to slam shut.

Plus, the Hubby is gone this week and I don't sleep well when he's gone.

Hopefully, tonight I will crash pretty well.

Me and the boy got home about 5:30 this evening and my work began.

Fed the boy.
Unloaded the dishwasher.
Loaded the dishwasher.
Ate.
Started a load of clothes.
Put in Mona Lisa Smile DVD. (Approx 6:00p)
Sent the boy up to work on cleaning his room.
Vacuumed the TV room and entry hall rug.
Sent the boy *back* up to clean his room.
Put the clothes in the dryer.
Put another load in the washer.
Started gathering up the trash.
Sent the boy *back* up to clean his room. Explained that he doesn't have to clean my room. He doesn't have to do the dishes. He doesn't have to wash clothes. All he needs to do is clean his room. AND if I came up there and something was not where it was supposed to be, I was throwing it away.
Brought trashcans up from the road.
Checked boy's room. It'll do.
Went out with boy and his new bug collecting toys.
Scooped up two ants.
Scooped up three ants.
Went back inside for old hot dog buns to show boy how ants will cut off pieces and carry them back to their home.
Noticed how ants tend to run willy-nilly. Silly ants.
Scooped up a bunch of ants.
Watered rose bushes.
Put fresh water in bird bath.
Folded clothes.
Put boy in bathtub.
Put clothes in dryer.
Finished gathering up trash.
Loaded two trash cans and wheeled them to the road.
Swatted some mosquitoes.
Rinsed boy off.
Dried boy off.
Tucked boy into bed.
Started looking through photos I need to e-mail off.
Sent boy back to bed.
Looked at more photos.
Took boy up and tucked him in again.
Turned on his "That's What Boys Are Made Of" CD.
Threatened him to not get out of bed, or else.
Finish with photos.
Talked to hubby on phone.
Cussed DVD for jacking up.
Dicked with DVD for a bit and then said BAH! and finished wherever it would play from. (Approx 10p)
Thought about how long it took me to watch a 119 minute movie (240 minutes) cause I kept having to go back and watch the parts I had missed while doing my "chores".
Wished there was a Hard Apple Cider in the house.
Shared this with you.

I have mad skillz that way.
